Madrid. March 28, 2023. - Madrid In Game, an initiative of the Madrid City Council, launches 'El Tardeo' with Madrid Game Cluster, a project aimed at fostering synergies within the sector and raising visibility of the ecosystem through a series of free and open gatherings for professionals and the Madrid gaming community.

These meetings will take place on the last Wednesday of each month at the Experience Center of the Madrid in Game Video Game Campus. Each "tardeo" will have a central theme and will feature various industry-leading speakers, thus providing a unique opportunity to build community through activities, roundtable discussions, and networking sessions organized in each session.

The debut of the 'Tardeo de Madrid In Game' will be on Wednesday, March 29, at 18:00. The first part of the event, lasting 45 minutes, will focus on the Madrid-based company Mercury Steam and its journey to becoming one of the industry's leading developers.

This first "Tardeo" will feature Enric Álvarez, co-owner of the studio behind video games such as Clive Baker's Jericho, the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series, Raiders of the Broken Planet, or the 2D revival of the Metroid series on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch with Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Dread. The second part of the event will focus on networking and connecting professionals and video game enthusiasts to seek synergies, strengthen networks, and create new business opportunities.
